Give
the Metrilogics White Box Performance Management
System a Try!
This is your chance to see how the Metrilogics White Box System works! To demonstrate how effectively the system can support any management team, we’ve provided 2 different scenarios representing different types of operations - a typical manufacturing company and a financial services firm.
Both scenarios include 1 year’s worth
of data (for the year 2006) encompassing:
- 3 Production areas with 3 Supervisors and 30 hourly employees
- 1 Quality Control department, made up of 1 Supervisor and 3 hourly employees
- A mix of 14 production tasks, each with 4 – 6 different defect opportunities
- 21 different ‘direct’ and ‘indirect’ time categories (work time, system down time, vacation, sick time, etc.) covering over 70,000 paid resource hours, from January 1, 2006 – December 31, 2006
While the system demo you’re about to activate contains data for a fictitious company, it accurately represents how actual companies operate and the various daily challenges they face - all within a realistically-designed corporate structure. By perusing the graphs and reports contained within the demo, you’ll quickly gain a direct window into this operation, and be able to assess the performance of individual team members, supervisor teams, departments, cost centers and the company as a whole across a variety of process tasks, quality metrics and $ cost break-outs.
After you complete the demo, we believe you’ll come away with a genuine sense of what the Metrilogics White Box System can do to help your management team achieve significant bottom-line savings, by making the entire operation – warts and all – completely transparent, top to bottom.

select which scenario you want to try, and take the Metrilogics White Box
System out for a “test drive.” Buckle up, hold
on…and enjoy!

To get started, select one of the scenario links, below:
After selecting one of the 2 links, the
following screen will appear. Under User Functions, select
‘Operational Reports’ (note: for the purposes of the demo,
all other buttons appearing on this screen have been intentionally deactivated).
Now you’re ready to try out the various performance management graphs and reports available in the Metrilogics White Box System! You can select any one of the different graph types listed on the left-hand side of the screen (below), under ‘Report / Graph.’
Once you’ve chosen the desired format,
use the selection buttons and drop-down menus in the middle of the screen
to choose the date range (any
time between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2006), organizational level and specific cost center,
department, supervisor team or individual team member that you want
to focus on. With the bar graph formats, you can choose whether
you want the data displayed in hours or $’s.
After all selections have been made, click on ‘Generate Report…’ (bottom center of the screen, to the right of the Metrilogics logo), and the system will deliver operational detailed or summarized information in the format you requested!
Modify whichever graph you want by choosing different options from the selection buttons or drop-down menus that appear with the displayed graph or report. You can also select upper and lower control limits to display with the ‘Performance Trend’ graphs.
Also, be sure to try the drill-down functions when displaying any of the bar graphs. Click on any section of any stacked bar graph or horizontal bar graph, and you’ll see even more detail about that graphic section!
To move between the various graphs and reports, or to move back to the system demo ‘Welcome’ page, simply use your internet browser controls to navigate from one screen to another – it’s that easy.
